The Bible tells us that God proved His words with His actions.
Romans 5:8 says that:
“God demonstrates his own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
What Jesus did was unreasonable: He took your punishment.
But He did that - because His love for you is unreasonably great.
